Hear The Child Report

Service Description

As a member of the BC Hear the Child Society roster, I conduct neutral, non-evaluative child interviews for the purpose of providing children with an opportunity to express their views in relation to matters affecting them. The Hear the Child process is intended to capture and report the child’s views; it is not a parenting assessment and does not involve making recommendations regarding parenting arrangements or determining what outcome is in the children’s best interests. The BC Hear the Child Society describes its roster interviewers as neutral professionals who interview children and prepare reports containing their views for consideration in family justice processes, including court proceedings.
