How I Can Help You
Choosing a therapist can be an intimidating process and reaching out for help can be uncomfortable, but we all need support in order to thrive.
Within a warm, open and compassionate environment, my practice helps clients make sense of the challenges they face and use this understanding to navigate their lives with increased resilience and grace.
I can work with you so you can connect with your best self. I offer direct and compassionate treatment.
The Guiding Principles of the Counselling & Consultation Sessions
My approach is integrative-holistic, mainly because I believe that each person comes to therapy as a unique individual.
In the integrative approach, I practice Compassionate Inquiry, Existentialism, Mindfulness, Emotional Focused Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy .

Insurance Coverage
Counselling sessions are not currently covered under the BC Medical Services Plan (MSP). However, some extended benefits plans do offer partial or full coverage for Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC's). Pacific Blue Cross & Great-West Life are two plans that have been known to include coverage for RCC's. It may also be possible for you to choose your counsellor under your insurance's Employee Assistance Plan (EAP).
It is strongly advised you check with your union, human resources manager, and/or your insurance provider to determine the extent of coverage your plan offers you each year.
